It’s quite nice to be able to have a beer up in the clouds. Apparently the effects of drinking alcohol while on a flight are different to that on the ground, but I don’t see how. Perhaps it’s stewardess talk to try and persuade people to drink less. Which is odd considering they’re coming round with the trolley as often as they can when it’s not complimentary and try to hook you into multibuy schemes when you don’t really want to. Maybe it’s secretly because you’re the entertainment. There’s quite a range out there as well, which explains why you’ve hardly got any room in your seat. You’ve also got the fun of pouring your drink into tiny plastic glasses and raising them to your lips while hoping that you’re not going to experience any turbulence. It might be a while before you get an opportunity to clean up any mishaps.
