In a time when a company is likely to be at its busiest, it’s
been decided by the top brass that this is the best time for the staff to take
a step back to evaluate their learning. You’d think that they’d organise a
quieter time for this campaign but it’s monetised. I suppose that it’s designed
to encourage employees of all experiences to engage in the hope of winning some
prizes. Each day, three quiz questions are asked about various topics and
processes in the company. Between each question, a small video game as developed
to earn extra points. There would be daily spot prize for entering, and your
score would be entered into a league table to compete with other employees
within the store, and with other stores. You also got engagement points for
encouraging your colleagues to participate, with a team prize for the team that
won the most points each week. And the name of the character hosting the event:
Sparky. And each site even got a free cuddly toy of him.
