I Feel no Sympathy for the Homeless because I feel it's their own fault. Are there examples of seemingly normal and respectable people becoming homeless?

Yes, lots. You can try and prepare for everything and have insurance in place and good links in society, but one natural disaster could destroy your life in a nutshell. People would be keen to support you and help you get back on your feet, but you’d still be technically homeless even if you were put into a hotel. A home isn’t just a sheltered bed, it’s security. And life gets unnerving when it’s taken away from you through no fault of your own because there’s not enough resources and you’re told that you’re not a priority. It’s not right to just look at them and say that they didn’t try hard enough, however they still need to be helped the right way rather than have money thrown at them. People try to succeed, not to fail. And if it does happen, they need somewhere to start rebuilding their lives again.
