Maxim The Great Escape at the Roebuck, Leek

This was my first visit to a Titanic pub, and it was quite a strange one. It was in a traditional merchant’s house; yet the bar was quite small and reached out into hidden rooms beyond the reception room. It served the full core range of Titanic beers alongside a selection of brewery souvenirs and food products. We also had to wait quite a while for service. Considering the size of the building; the bar wasn’t in the best of positions. As I was beer-ticking, I decided to try their guest rather than one of their usual regular beers. There were two other smaller rooms in the pun which were both packed out. After staking out the bar to get served, we managed to seat ourselves on one of the larger bench-styled tables. It was then that one of the oddballs of our group got even odder and began scoffing at the remains of a leftover lunch at the table.
