I’ve now managed to get back into badminton now for a
straight two weeks in a row. During the first session I was performing very
well, but in the second session I was really struggling to go for the shuttle. The
attendance has also fallen dramatically, and often our group is reduced down to
just the one court. Even the wizarding dinosaurs next door seem to have
vanished, who we used to borrow a spare player. The trouble that we have now is
a shortage of regular players. The guy organising the games is in his 90s; and is
now preferring to coach as he really does struggle to keep up in pace in
playing games. We really haven’t got the potential to spread the word; so the
only way that we can continue is to create posters to market ourselves to a
younger audience. Otherwise I cant see it lasting more than the end of this
year.
