Once our flight had landed, we congregated in the luggage
claim as our tour guide rounded everyone up. Then we were whisked onto our
coach and given a quick briefing of what would be happening over the next couple
of days. As we arrived at the hotel, we separated so that my mother could
collect our room key while I sorted out the luggage to avoid valet fees. Then
we were off into a lift and whisked up to a very high floor in a grand hotel.
We took some time to sort out our belongings for the evening and attempted to
connect to the hotel’s censored wi-fi, then after a brief wander around the
hotel we began to make plans for tomorrow’s trip. We could have had dinner in the
hotel but we wanted to make the best out of a city experience and set out into the
city.
