Different buildings have different set-ups. Each team must make
the best of the available space. But it’s no good if you’re treating every site
the same. Putting heavy items in one area may not be as beneficial as placing
the same items in another area on the same site. Unique fixtures and fittings
also come into play for each building and you must take the space for these
pipes into account too. The building might have a neighbour which relies on the
same supplies or it might be isolated enough to have its own designed to suit. Building
a model for all the sites to work together takes some extreme thought so some
leeway must be given to the people who operate the site to best make the
decisions. They may not necessarily make the best decisions and perhaps these
can be corrected later but sometimes you can only work with what you’ve got.
