This
show is very enjoyable and it’s hard to avoid binge-watching it; especially when
one cliff-hanger blends from one episode to the next in the first series. There
are some excellent characters here who all have some sort of conflict with themselves
as well as each other. The Tick has some fantastic catchphrases and metaphors. It’s
also nice to see that superheroes have everyday issues as well that they can’t
avoid. It’s a shame that Tick becomes a background character in the second
series. One thing is for sure is that no one whole character knows all the answers;
which forces them all to work together (for a while) to get what they want. I
would have like to have known a little bit about Tick’s origin. And could the
primary protagonists have a love interest or is it to be to each other? Hopefully
these issues will resolve themselves in a future series.
