As soon as we arrived at the pub,
everyone carried straight past the bar and into the back room. Not wanting to
miss an opportunity, I ordered a half at the bar for a good look around. A
horseshoe bar served a front room and a second to the right, and there was also
a hatch out the back. There was also a smaller room to the left that served as
an event room. I then headed over to catch up with everyone and discovered a
second bar in the back room. This bar was well decorated and was in the middle
of a beer festival. Each table was delicately decorated with stained glass and
had a different game to play on it. We started on a game of snakes and ladders
on ours but we got too distracted with trying out the beers. The young barmaid
insisted that we stood behind the bar to have our picture taken as well.
