Good Santa

Amongst the many characters that we do get on our beer crew is a strange man with white hair and beard who always wears red. Whether it’s the summer or winter; it’ll always be a red T-shirt, jumper or jacket. He drives a red car. And his wife has red hair. Yet, despite the amount of beer that he drinks; he never gets a beer belly. He’s incredibly active; and he’s usually the first to stray off the beaten track in search of other venues. Often we have to send out a search party to get him back; but he’s never lost; he just has a different sense of time. He resides in a small village between Worcestershire and Warwickshire; and I wonder if he keeps reindeer in his back garden; and how many mince pies are in his pantry. And he’s the first in line to eat the Santa pies at Christmas; perhaps his costume starts there.
