My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Jason tells of his compelling story of luck, laughs and charm. I don’t read any autobiographies, but this one was full of hope and ups and downs rather than a pompous list of achievements, which made it more human to read. I love the idea of his hopes and dreams and how he narrates what actually happens. It just goes to show that you can do it on talent alone rather than qualifications providing that you put yourself in the right networks and you can show that you can make things work. There’s some great insight on the sets that he worked on alongside the pranks that he gets up to. Its conclusion was short and bestowed a sense of tragedy alongside an emotional journey of who he had loved and lost. And although it's a shame that more areas weren’t covered, was surprised at how many names that I recognised.
