And this is my little shop. It takes a while to set up and
top get everything nice and neat ready for the festival opening. First, the
counter has to be rested in its place. It’s a giant bulky counter that we
bought off a department store that went into liquidation. People have talked
about attaching wheels to it to make it easier to transport but they never
have. It’s usually one of the first things that get loaded onto the trailer,
then everything else is built up around it. I usually have to try and look busy
when it’s time to lift it so I can try and get out of it. There’s a sheet of glass
in place so that things can be put on show without too much fear of them
wandering off, and there’s also a light inside. It’s even got drawers which we
have to take out when lifting and put back in when it reaches its resting
place.
