In the Can

Plastic is deemed to be bad. It gets stuck in rivers and pollutes the environment. And since we can’t trust people to dispose of it, the next best thing is to get rid of it altogether. So we’ve decided to bring back tin. It keeps things fresher for longer and it’s easier to recycle since we can talk people into getting a premium for what they recycle. It means that metals are cleaner and the environment is greener since everything is being returned to the ecosystem. Of course, transporting all this metal is a difficult task because of all the extra weight. Magnets are being deployed in all of our supermarkets to help cope with heavier loads. Cars require fatter tyres to bear larger loads and a loading ramp to facilitate packing from shop to home. And of course, sales of plasters and tin openers have gone through the roof.
