A new and novel game has finally arrived on my favourite
gaming site. Based on the traditional Roman gladiator, you are a lone warrior
who must battle against everyone who enters the arena and survive as long as
you can. The action is fast and furious, and you can really let off some steam
as enemies try to surround you in the later levels. The game itself claims to
be based on a true story on a brutal gladiator named Brutilius; though this does get a bit far-fetched when a T-red
enters the battleground. It’s a shame that the game is limited to waves; there
is so much more that could be done to this such as extra levels and more
dangerous opponents; or even the chance to earn coins to purchase weapons,
power-ups and special moves. So far I’ve only managed to get to wave 30, but I
only have one achievement left to unlock.
