At first glance, this looks like a load of vines have taken over
a wall and they’ve been tastefully wrapped around wooden frames. A closer
glance reveals that they’re golden statues; through there’s some vegetation
towards the bottom. Some of the figures look like they’re conjuring up others
out of extra-long arms. It’s all a bit ghoulish. There’s even statues of their predecessors
mounted on the walls who are looking in on the action. Ol’ Buddy in the middle
is soaking it all in while his lefthand man is preparing for a gig with a lute.
There’s not a single person who’s not frowning in this diorama. His righthand
man might be his protector; though he’s a bit on the chubby side and he’s
showing a bit of leg to those below him. It looks like Buddy’s aware of this
though as he's managed to make a manifest of himself appear behind him to keep
an eye on him so that he can have the last laugh.
