This is quite a modern pub that you’d expect to see anywhere.
It’s on the edge of town where there’s lots of space to meet groups in one
large environment. There’ll be a big menu but you can almost guess what’s on it,
and it won’t be particularly memorable. And it’ll be the same for the drinks.
The portions are a decent size, but they won’t be fresh and you’ll want a
pudding afterwards, probably a sundae. There’ll be a large bar with very few
people serving who are just paid the minimum wage and aren’t expected to be
tipped because of the clientele. Get there after the dinner rush and there’ll
be piles of plates everywhere. There’ll be a nice patio where you can sit
outside and wait for your mates to come in or watch the world go by in the
sunshine. Its translation is the Blue Stones which sounds romantic, but my
first guess would be the Large Glass.
