Bosherton Beer

The car park was a mass of slate crazy paving that had been left to overgrow, and what was once used as natural lines was now no more. We walked past the slate buildings used to host a toilet block, and followed the road up the hill to the main road. At the church, we turned left, and walked past a local social club where people were sitting outside in deckchairs enjoying the sunshine. The pub was nicely painted, and it would have been nice to stay inside to cool off, but the weather was too tempting and we sat on a picnic bench in the car park. We had a simple meal of sandwiches and chips since we’d brought a locally made baguette with us in case they weren’t serving food. We chatted to the group of bikers next to us, and they were impressed that we’d managed to walk this far.
