Just down the road from our Travelodge was a local café. Its
surroundings may not be much, but they’ve made the best out of what they’ve
got. We got there just after opening, and I think we got the last but one table.
It was very clean and warming like you’d just walked into someone’s kitchen. The
prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. It was also a great place
for locals to pop in to start their day as they collected their breakfast
sandwiches and lunch orders. The team was certainly organised as they were prepping
orders to be delivered as well. We were that impressed that we decided to order
lunch to take away as well in the form of baguettes which were freshly made. We
ate these on the beach later. As we left, there was a queue of people waiting
to get a table, so we knew that we were onto a good thing.
