Mother of IDF soldier taken hostage by Hamas fears he'll be one of last freed

Well, he’s a soldier so tactically speaking they’re doing the right thing. If you release a soldier, it won’t be long until he shares some intel and he’s able to be a soldier again. They could injure him so that he couldn’t fight then set him free, but he wouldn’t be the same. It’ll either be through a surrender or an invasion of a foreign force. It’s all part of modern day war tactics. But I had no idea who the IDF were until I googled them. They could have been the International Defence Federation. But it’s a nerve-testing time for the family as every day is another wait for news. It’s not something that’s easy to obtain. Even a ceasefire will cause a huge amount of administration. It’ll be much quicker for an invading force to create an escape, ideally with an extraction. But you need a team with guts to attempt it.
