This book had an interesting idea. It was quite novel and revolutionary at the same time, but at times the triple plot scenario was hard to follow and work out each character’s perspective. It would have been nice if the author had explained to us what some of the definitions meant rather than provide an unreferenced glossary in the back, though some of them were quite vulgar and not all of them were used. I enjoyed the free spirits of the characters in the future. For the characters of the past, they’d seemed to accept their fate once they’d met their future selves and it seems very little effort was made to change it. I’m not sure where some of the antagonists came from and what they hoped to achieve. I liked the idea of different perspectives from those who were left behind, but it could have done with a bit more humour and the world that she’d created could have a lot of spin-offs.
