Falconer's Quest #warwick 13

We knew that this activity would be very popular so we had to quickly locate a spot. We left the girls there with nanny while we headed back to the car to get our picnic bag, which was quite a long trek. But we got back before the show began and other people were being turned away and were told to come back for the next show. It was worth the wait, there was music, smoke, a narrator and actors performing on rafts across the river. Then the birds would be let loose and flew in sync with the story. Some flew in circles and came back to their trainer; others took off and rested on a perch, often just above us with steward falconers on standby to make sure that the audience was kept seated. Some flew close to our heads, and even swooped down for a peck or two. But it made for a very entertaining show.
