Who is going to get through £60 of beer in one day?! OK, it is London so that bumps up the prices a bit. And it’s nitro-beer which has a lot of gas which also increases costs. They’ll be entry fees and glass hire costs to come out of that too. When you get round to looking at the price list, it’s probably only for five or six pints which is slightly above what the average festivalgoer drinks. You’d probably want someone who has a little more experience than someone who’s just passed the legal limit though. It’s nice to give but you have to hope that they’re going to give back by turning up without a hangover and that they’re able to do their duty. There’s even a video to attempt to demonstrate how little effort is involved but it does depend on how busy the festival is. These volunteers could be working their asses off.
