Scorched Earth #richmond 13

The grass is turning yellow. For a species that's used to their food source being wet and green, this may not be a good sign, although some may see it as a rare treat to have their food toasted. Of course, taking this dry option means that you’ll have to source water from somewhere afterwards. And it may not be so rare in the future. Climate change will have a major effect on animal migration patterns as what was once a reliable source is now not so dependable as they may get desperate forcing them to venture into other areas for supplies. They may raid dustbins, they may venture into the concrete jungle, but for now they make the most of whatever’s nearest to them. We can only hope that the ecosystem can be maintained to support all forms of life without one species disrupting the other or forcing one to attempt to conquer the other.
