This head’s just popped up, but how long have we been
waiting for it? What about all those times when we haven’t seen that smile? The
head might as well have been trapped underneath the coat. But just beyond there
is something green. It looks as if it’s ready to grab it and pluck it from the
coat like a cabbage. It could be a claw or talon of something that’s about to
swoop down and get a grip. It’s accompanied by a grabber on its left. Is that
to take out the both of them? Then the head will be boiled and the hair will be
served up on something’s dinner. It might get the little sister first. If they’re
quick, they can grab the ropes and poles while the other one may be able to help.
Will she notice and get the harpoon out to rescue her? Maybe it won’t be long
until it grows back again.
