In a time where nothing is certain, it feels great to obtain
something that’s so high in demand. This was the latest games console that
everyone was trying to get their hands on for Christmas. My cousin who’s a
nurse was trying to get one for her son, and I was drafted in so see if I could
help out. I had to keep an eye on the stock that we could order in as well as
when reserved ones expired. I was lucky enough that one did. I had to check
with my manager to ensure that I wasn’t exploiting my position, and she had to
check the order history. But it was a genuine cancellation so I was able to
make the purchase. I sent a teaser picture to my uncle, who sent my cousin to
my doorstep to collect it and gave me a small gift as a token of her
appreciation.
