Next, we trek out across the field. One thing that they’ve
tried to do is to ensure that there’s a main gravel path throughout the trail
to help people with mobility issues enjoy it. There weren’t any stiles or
steps, though there might have been a gate. They’ve also stuck bright, visible waymarker
poles throughout the trail in case too much snow causes confusion about the
route and no one wanders off onto the main farm. We enter a self-contained
wooded area. Here, there were more fenced off reindeers made of straw and
little wooden houses with cute doors on them which were fairy grottos. It was a
nice little winter wonderland, and the trail wasn’t long and no one got too cold.
It wasn’t too crowded either. We finished with a round of hot chocolates while
the little one ran round the playground. It was good to get outside and stretch
our wings.
