They’ve spotted the owl. They’re intimidating the hoot that
it makes, probably because it’s not making any itself. They’re literally giving
a hoot. It would be good if there was a speaker system out in to create an
atmosphere; though that would cost more. The girls are getting excited as they’ve
nearly finished the trail which means that they’re going to cash in their
answers for a reward. But the bells for them to ring are just out of reach. As
are the lights. They’re probably on a battery timer. I wonder what it’s like to
have these visitors pass it. It’s probably interested in where they’re going,
or when they leave so that it can swoop down and have a peck at that mushroom. But
the visitors might leave tastier food behind. Once that’s done, it can have a
nice rest before the net batch of visitors disturb them. And they’re loud.
