Peppa's New House

Peppa Pig: Peppa’s New House
Peppa Pig: Peppa’s New House by Peppa Pig
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a very enjoyable book. It’s colourful and well-drawn with good quality cardboard that will be hard for little hands to rip. I felt it was a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the pigs through the sheep’s eyes. The flip panels were very strategic and were an integral part to the story. But we only saw the children’s part of the rooms. If this was a property guide, this would not suffice. It’s obvious that children expect parents to magic food out of nowhere. But the playroom looks good. There’s plenty of places to hide, lots of games to play, and you can even take a nap here if you don’t want to go to bed. It’s obvious that the pigs aren’t struggling from the cost-of-living crisis. The adventure concludes in the traditional Peppa way; just like the TV show. At least we don’t have to worry about these characters retiring just yet.
