There’s boats everywhere. How do they get around? They’re
all in their shorts wearing baseball caps and thy all seem to be on their mobile
phones. It’s as if they don’t care about their surroundings. They could be
crashing into something but they don’t seem to be too bothered so long as they
can publish good story on Instagram. And
just look at the rubbish on the embankment as each boat passes. Who’s going to
pick it up? I guess it’s down to the Canal Trust. I don’t know if it’s a
gathering or if they’re all waiting for docking clearance. They could be lining
up for a race or preparing for a blockade. But there’s no interest in anywhere
other than what’s in front of them. They don’t even want to communicate with
the people next to them. Why should you be out at all? It’s almost as if it’s
just work and nothing else.
