He doesn’t look happy. I’m assuming it’s a he but I could be
wrong. It’s a lot harder to tell when it’s
a different species with a completely different reproduction system. It’s the
feathers which makes me think it’s a she, albeit a very old she. It’s like I’ve
caught her with her pants down. She’s got the proper expression of a wrinkly
old crone as if she’s not amused. Maybe it’s the temperature of the water and
she thinks that I’m to blame for it somehow. The water doesn’t look too deep.
You can see the bottom and the statue doesn’t look that big. But it could be
deceiving us by being placed on a pillar. And there’s an unnatural shade of
light between the two trees. It’s almost as if it’s a mirror on a post or a
picture if it wasn’t for the torse above it. Perhaps I’m blocking the light for
the goose which is causing the scowl.
