Behind the Door

There’s quite a shadow cast over the radiator. It’s probably from the sofa that’s in front of you, but it doesn’t bode well for what’s behind the door. It makes it look big. It’s intruding into the light as if it’s going to disrupt your day. There’s also quite a haze as if the photo’s suggesting it’s the last thing you see before something’s sneaked up behind you. In the lefthand corner, there’s something that could be swinging towards you. The carpet’s already stained with your blood. Maybe the door was just a distraction. The doorknob is very highly polished. It’s almost like a button that’s stuck on for effect. The picture looks like it’s going to fall off the wall at any moment. Maybe the panels on the door will pop out first to reveal an arm, but we still don’t know what we’re facing. It could even be behind the sofa.
