It’s that time of year again; get a cake to suit everyone. You’ve
got to find something to appeal to recipient as well as something that everyone
will want to try, and you’ve got to ensure that you’ve got the tight number of
portions catered for as well. It’s only a supermarket cake, but it’s symmetrically
decorated and it’s finished by hand according to the packaging. It does look
like a messy and gloppy finish. I love how the icing overflows and runs down
the side. Those domes look a bit playful and slightly enticing. It’s a shame
that they’ve got to come off and be devoured somehow. I’m not sure if that’s
chocolate at the base on the left that’s started to crumble on the left side. The
trouble is that the person I’m sending the picture to might not reply until several
hours later. So I’ve got a decision to make in the meantime.
