This pub has a relaxing view of the river, and it’s made skilful
use of this view with a huge patio on the one side facing it with roped off
areas of tables and umbrellas. At the end, there’s even a little play area so
that people can lose themselves to spend as much time as possible here. There’s
a designer gazebo with lighting to cater for any kind of weather. There’s even
a harbour to hitch up a boat, and there’s a bricked extension with a riverside
indoor dining area. On the opposite side of the building, there’s a huge car
park which is clearly marked, and there’s a field opposite which can be used
for overflow parking or to host camping or events. Inside, the bar and the
kitchen are back-to-back which serves the whole building, and it has a modern
yet rustic décor with staff wearing traditional formal dress.
