The final obstacle on the trail
was an interesting one that was well engineered. Four swings were arranged at
different heights. In the centre was a ball suspended on a rope. The idea was
to get your swing up to a height where you could kick the ball while on your
swing. The amazing thing was that each swing came in at a different angle so
that no-one collided with each other. Little ones needed help to climb up on
some of them. Then it was a climb back up the hill to the café, though there
were plenty of opportunities to roll back down it if you wanted to. There was
little choice left in the café on the hot front, and it took a while to receive
the order. But the whole experience was something different and we all had a
lot of fun. We look forward to additional activities along the trail.
