A short walk down a wooded trail leads to the next obstacle.
It’s just an innocent rope bridge. It’s built parallel to the hill and it’s not
too high or steep to encourage grown-ups to climb up and have a go as well. However,
all is not as it seems. There’s a bit of a giveaway if you spot the pipes
climbing up the side. A certain step halfway up the ladder contains a trigger to activate a hosepipe which
releases a short, hard burst of gassy water right across the centre of the
bridge. You may think that it goes off randomly at first, especially if you’re
the first person to arrive. You’ve got to dash through in the hope that you
won’t be caught out. But if you’re hesitant and
cause a queue to build up on the steps, you could get very wet indeed, especially
if someone’s little darling already knows where the trigger is and has the evilness
to get you as wet as possible.
