I have a friend who’s
obsessed with flamingos. She’s built herself a little bar in the back garden
that’s completely flamingo-themed. It comes with an obvious name because I don’t
know of a flamingo that isn’t pink. Perhaps it’s an excuse to exhibit as many
pink things as possible. I don’t really know how this fit into a bar though.
Perhaps if it was an outhouse, it would fit in with the décor if the building
was used for other things as well. I’ve also got no idea why flamingos are
ideal for featuring on an ironing board. Perhaps they make people think of
happier times or places when they’re doing their chores. Anything that sells. Maybe
there’s other products like tablecloths and glasses available. They might be
different shades, patterns and sizes, which makes the whole bar seem random. But
she might not appreciate this entirely, especially as it’s not bar-themed.
