Welcome to a quick tour of our dining room. It’s small but
settled, and it’s perfectly positioned for a view of our back garden when the
blinds are open. It can accommodate up to six people at a stretch, and there’s
more seating in the lounge behind you, albeit only with a coffee table or
lapside dining. At the moment, dinner will be a little delayed since there’s a jigsaw
in progress and it’ll be a little difficult to remove it. Unless, of course,
you can quickly help me finish it? Through the door is the kitchen if you’d
like to fix yourself a drink or grab a snack. On the mantlepiece you can see
family pictures, and just beyond this, there’s a guitar. In the drawer, you’ll
find some records, manuals, glasses and a few bottles of liquor. That’s
probably one of the kids’ games on the floor waiting to go back in there as
well.
