Are we fading away here or are we bring spun around. Has the
earth suddenly sped up and only the camera notices? We’re moving so fast that
other things can’t keep up. It’s weird that the lighter things put up more
resistance and are dragged behind. I wonder if someone’s pulled the cord off
the wall which has caused it to go for a spin. It’s as if the whole house is on
a pivot. It might have shot out of the TV and we’re all scrambling to get out
of the way before it pulls us in. If my niece is facing forward then she’s
ducked in the nick of time. But if she’s facing the TV, then it looks like it’s
already got her. Or it could have come through the window. It’s already cracked
the frame on the wall. Is that a plant on the windowsill or is it a cartoon serpent
on the other side?
