Friends in Low Places

It’s frustrating when friends head over to events near you and you don’t have a clue that they’re on; let alone get an invite to join  them. The weather wasn’t brilliant, and I appreciate that they may want their space, but it would have still been nice to have been considered. I realise that restrictions might not let our groups mix together, but there were certainly people from different walks of life together in the audience. Perhaps they’d get worried that I’d be socially shamed by having to sit on my own while they eat cake. They might have expected me to be there and I missed an invite. Perhaps they just wanted a free show. But it’s often hard to hide things from me. They think of me as a stalker that way. But they’re no longer together so I guess they learned their lesson. And I didn’t even have anything to do with the split.
