It’s a victory wave. It’s a celebration that she’s made it
through without getting wet. She could have beaten her personal best, or she
might be calming her nerves. Or it could be an attempt to exit the bridge in
haste while keeping balance. It’s a bit blurred but beyond the picture she might
be reaching for an overhead rope or branch for support. It would be good fun if
the tree emitted a source of alarm; even if it’s only in pain, though it wouldn’t
be good for the tree. It would be good fun if she dropped something on the
bridge so that we could make her go back for it so that we could get her wet
some more. Perhaps there’s an outstretched hand coming towards her to help her to
the other side. Has she crossed blindly? Maybe she’s shielding her eyes from
the sun. Or she could be looking for someone to give her a high five.
