My nieces love this game. It’s only a two-player game as
well so they sit quietly opposite each other with just a blue plastic wall
between them. They each concentrate and watch the other’s move to ensure that
there’s no cheating involved. One of them likes to get each counter through as
quickly as possible. The other likes to line them all to get them all filled
into the last cog at the end. Our set is also an odd one since two sets of the
numbers are the same colour. But they’re not bothered by that. We just play the
quickest way down rather than having to get each number through every cog since
there’s no way to police it. It’s also not the only game on the table. Am I
playing two different games at once? Is that why there’s a bald spot on the
back of my head?
