This is what we’re up against. We’re allowed back into the
pub, but there’s rules that we have to obey. How are the bar staff going to ensure
that people from different households aren’t mixing? It’s going to be such a
waste of space if two people from different households want to meet. And then
there’s masks. But the only lawful thing
that they can request is to record a record of your visit so that you can be contacted
if anyone is out at risk. Some people are ordering the cheapest food, but they’re
not even eating it. They’re there to just drink. It’s such a waste. Is it worth
the risk? There’s other places that you can meet. It depends on how threatened
you feel, but at least our freedom isn’t under attack. Some people want to
support our industries and don’t want our way of life threatened.
