Someone’s looking like they’re regretting what’s been put in
front of them. Maybe it seemed like a good idea at the time or they’ve decided
that they’re just going to be sociable. Maybe they’ve been overdoing it. Or maybe
it’s a really bad drink. Someone’s decided to alter it in some way with a
naughty ingredient. It’s something that really sour or strong. Will she finish
the glass? Will it take her a long time while others move onto more interesting
beverages? Or will she pour it down the sink or into a plant pot when she
thinks that no-one is looking? She could also pretend to knock the glass over and
spill it, though she’ll have to do that delicately so that the glass doesn’t
break. Perhaps it’s the foresight of a big clean-up that is yet to come that no
one else will take responsibility for. It’s not something that you want to be
doing on Christmas Day.
