The square is the strongest until it’s folded in two. They’re not the most natural of shapes and they can be very artificial. Sometimes they can wobble without support. It depends on how they’re stacked. They can also be pierced easily. You’d need a lot of them if you are to win the day. If you’re fortifying, you’re also going to need some patience and the right tools if you want them to stick around. If you have enough of them, you can make something that’s hard to move, but it’ll cost you more in materials and you have to watch out for the saggy bits. Most people don’t bother. They realise that it’ll need rebuilding anyway so it’s better to be mobile. But you can also use them as art forms to make interesting shapes and cut off any corners or bits that you don’t need. You could even use these as decorations.
