A lap around Lapworth

We’re here to explore two different sections of canal. There were some stunning views as we took in trains and canals. We started our journey at a car park adjacent to the canal. Amazingly, this car park sheltered in the wood was free. We walked forward towards the canal and turned right to follow the towpath south. We passed the lockkeeper’s cottage and an interesting sign marking the junction in the marina. We continued south and the towpath took us underneath the motorway. It was a good mile and a half before we reached the next bridge at lock thirty. Here, we walked underneath the bridge then turned round and climbed the towpath back to the road. Turning left, we followed the road east where we started to climb a hill, passing cottages along the way. Passing a farm shop on our left, we continued to climb until we started to dip, passing a stables on our right.
